Learn about the work of the Sharp End Heritage Committee and Columbia Parks and Recreation to mark sites designated as part of the city’s African-American Heritage Trail. Committee member Barbra Horrell discusses this effort to preserve landmarks and locations that are a part of Columbia’s black history, including Douglass School, the Second Missionary Baptist Church and the J.W. Blind Boone Home. Join us for this monthly public policy discussion co-sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Columbia-Boone County and the Columbia Public Library.
